The word Qamaña means bag in Quechua.

These tightly woven handbags are stylish and practical, and they also help preserve traditional regional designs and weaving techniques. A long piece of fabric is first woven on a backstrap loom, which is then cut and sewn to form the outer bag. The strap, woven separately, features its own symbols and designs.
